Room Hire Fees

Please note that Sunday bookings are being phased out.

Abergavenny Community Centre is a multi-purpose venue that has different rooms available for hire & use. The building also serves as a good friend to many individuals and groups, so the charity is mindful of how it is put it to use in wider community service.

It’s a good for children’s birthday parties, and ‘gentle’ adult family gatherings/celebrations will be considered. Please note that the premises doesn’t have a bar and is not licensed to sell alcohol.

Send and email to us and we’ll be happy to talk through bespoke requirements for family gatherings & life events.

Catering requests considered. Email: aber.hub@gmail.com at any time which is the preferred form of initial contact for the busy staff team. Thank you.

Please have a clear idea of what you need from the venue, ie. how many people are coming and what food you want to provide (& who will be the provider) as it’s not possible to give firm prices until you are clear about your requirements and we understand the demands on the venue.

There are many options with each space suitable for a range of uses including events, workshops, meetings, counselling, training, conferences, gatherings, family gatherings, well-being activities, music, art and crafts, clubs or homeworkers.

Charges vary according to different factors, for example, is the session being run for personal profit or is it run as a good cause? Will it be weekly, occasional or once only? How many people will attend? Will you need storage? And, if you are open to working in partnership to achieve common aims and goals.

ROOM HIRE CHARGES [we work hard to find a fair price for everyone]

Are you looking to offer something that benefits the wider community? The Centre is a community resource and the charity which governs the Centre is pleased to collaborate with groups/initiatives that exist to support families, children & young people, older people, people with protected characteristics – and the wider fabric of a healthy society. We are collaborators, so please get in touch to discuss your thoughts. E: aber.hub@gmail.com (Marion)
