Community meals *cost no barrier*

We invite local people to help us create inspirational and memorable community meals, usually on a Friday or Saturday evening. The Centre is willing to host more World Bistros and to encourage people to step forward we’ll host as many smaller suppers, lunches, picnics and dinners as possible to keep the flame burning.

Our World Bistros are great value and good fun. We rely on people coming forward to share time and skills – quite simply – for the pleasure and enjoyment of community spirit. The planning and the cooking are joint activities and the Community Centre Kitchen will help with the management side of bringing diners in. In everything we do, we endeavour to cover our overheads and make a little bit more to continue the local work of the charity.
